A 7-fold tie is a tie constructed from one single piece of silk.It is folded 7 times to achieve thickness, silkier feel and hefty weight.
A real 7-fold tie does not contain an inter lining, which is used in other ties to achieve the thickness.
Making a seven fold necktie is time consuming because each necktie is hand-folded and hand-stitched to be perfect.
For our seven fold neckties we are using the finest silk from Como,Italy. We are probably the only store sewing seven fold neckties with silk thread.
