Our story
Neven began handcrafting and painting ties in his home. He packed them into a suitcase and set off on a years-long journey in search of partners, investors, and a way for his ties to reach customers and find their place on their shirts.
Neven finally arrived at his shop in Čika Ljubina Street, where he would lay the foundations of his vision, one that would grow into a lasting tradition. His dreams reached far beyond the walls of his shop. The ties carried stories that transcended mere fabric, stories of love for all things beautiful and for everything that makes life irresistible.
In the early 1980s, Neven’s bold creations became part of the Guinness World Records. First, a 23-meter-long tie hanging from the top of a building captivated passersby, and later, with the help of a team of experts and surgeons, the world’s smallest tie was created, measuring only 19 millimeters in length.
Innovative thinking that embraced the idea that art should be wearable took Neven across the ocean. For several years, Beverly Hills was home to a sister shop to the one in Čika Ljubina Street, where some of the most prominent figures of the time became his customers.
Despite the competition of industrial giants, Neven’s presence to this day stands as a testament to the lasting legacy of this remarkable artist, whose work has spread throughout Serbia and beyond its borders. His ideas continue to live on in the hands of his son and await you at the same address.
